The following are some questions that are frequently asked. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
A: You can enjoy the thrills of thoroughbred racing with Mud Creek Racing LLC for 5% of the claim or purchase price of the hose.
A: During the racing seasons the Mud Creek Racing thoroughbreds are stabled at the various tracks that we may be racing such as Indiana Downs, Turfway Park, Ellis Park, Fair Grounds Race Course, Churchill Downs, etc. There are also times that the horses may be stabled at a private training facility owned and operated by one of our trainers.
A: Purses are awarded 60% to the winner, 20% to the second place finisher, 10% to the third place horse, and 5% to the fourth place finisher. Mud Creek partners will receive all purse money after jockey and trainer percentages are paid. Your actual purse money will be based on your percentage of ownership.
A: Race day is a very exciting day for everyone including the horse. Every attempt will be made to allow you access to the barn area before the race. Access to the paddock area will be based on availablilty, track restricitons, and trainer request. All partners will be allowed in the win photos and be given the opportunity to purchase one at a very reasonable cost.
A: This is an extremely risky proposition. There is no guarantee that any Mud Creek Racing horse will make it to the races, and if they do, there is no guarantee that they will be talented enough to win. It is possible that the Mud Creek Racing partnership will lose all money invested in this horse. However, please be aware that the one time fee paid for each partnership is your only investment.
A: Once you become a partner with Mud Creek Racing you will receive emails notifying you of the horses progress, stable news, and racing schedule. You can also access our web site for this news as well, and of course you can contact us at any time.
A: Typically all horses are purchased or claimed after all shares are sold. However, if the right horse becomes available the manager of Mud Creek Racing will not hesitate to purchase or claim in order to add a horse we feel can compete to our stable.
